The case

At BKK Thai they deliver authentic Thai cuisine throughout Arnhem and the surrounding area. The Thai chefs use only fresh and natural ingredients. A healthy, fresh, and responsible takeaway and delivery restaurant—that was owner Rolls’ goal. However, they encountered some issues regarding administration. The situation

BKK Thai has been in existence for nearly 2.5 years. The Thai takeaway and delivery restaurant is located in the center of Arnhem and originated in a unique way: Rolls also owns a chip shop, and after renovating the building, there was an unused kitchen left over. Since he loves Thai cuisine and there were no good delivery options in Arnhem, Rolls decided to turn it into a Thai takeaway and delivery restaurant.

The challenge: administrative chaos

When the restaurant opened, there was some chaos regarding incoming orders. Takeaway orders arrived on one computer, while delivery orders arrived on another. Furthermore, there was often miscommunication with the delivery drivers. All receipts were printed separately, and the administration at the end of the day was a puzzle every time. That had to change!

The solution: integration of all systems

Since the partnership with CashDesk began, all problems have been resolved. By linking the systems, there is now only one printer. For the staff, this saves a lot of time and confusion. Additionally, the touchscreen system is much more user-friendly than before.

 

Rolls now has insight into the status of the delivery drivers, which improves communication with them and reduces frustration. Significant improvements have also been made regarding administration. At the end of the evening, they print out a single receipt for the entire night with the push of a button. “Within ten seconds, I know if the cash register is correct. Ideal!”

The results: efficiency and a second location

The restaurant is now running like clockwork. So well, in fact, that Rolls is opening a second location in Nijmegen. They will also use the CashDesk system there and, in addition to the current system, they will start using the CashDesk ordering app.
